Jennifer Finney is a certified private tutor specializing in working with children with Dyslexia and those who struggle with spelling and reading. She provides individualized one-on-one sessions using the Barton Reading & Spelling System. Ms. Jennifer has over twelve years of experience teaching students from preschool through high school in a variety of setting including public, private, and home schools. She has successfully worked with students who have special needs, ADHD, learning disabilities, as well as those who are gifted and twice-exceptional.

Ms. Jennifer believes that learning to read is not a privilege, but rather a right that all children should have. This means providing them with the skills and tools to help them achieve their greatest potential through means that best meet how they learn. She is passionate about sharing her love of reading and watching a child’s confidence grow as they improve their literacy skills.
