One-on-one tutoring
One-on-one tutoring with the Barton Reading & Spelling System is an intensive intervention for students who struggle with reading and spelling. With a minimum of two tutoring sessions a week, students gain confidence as they learn to decode words and achieve reading fluency benchmarks.
Private sessions allow for individualized lessons to be presented to students at the best pace for them and alleviates the embarrassment reading and spelling struggles can cause in a group setting.
Online Tutoring
Online tutoring allows one-on-one tutoring to be done from the convenience of your home or wherever a quiet environment and Internet access can be found. From my virtual classroom and with the use of the Barton Remote Tutoring System, students can benefit from the individual instruction and the multi-sensory approach that is crucial for struggling readers and spellers.
